I have been playing the guitar for decades and writing music and songs for over 30 years. Playing in bands and performing solo gigs in the past I will always love the live music scene, however, more recently my attention has been focused on composing songs rather than performing.

There are various musical influences that come through in my music (rock, pop, country and folk) and the direction this mix has taken my songs is still fairly mainstream with a leaning towards the “West Coast” path and an element of Americana in places. I experiment a lot with alternative tunings and have used these to create of range of ideas which I have developed into a fuller sound through studio work and experimentation with additional instruments.

Collaboration

Whilst I can sing, at my own admission, my vocal ability is fairly limited. Rather than restrict my writing I would like to work collaboratively with others, so if you enjoy the music, can sing, and want to try your voice please get in touch.
